This technical talk will be lead by an indus try expert in the Shale field, Mike Maneffa. \r\nMike Maneffa is currently the Shale Unit Manager in Chevron&rsquo\;s Energy Technology Company. In Mike&rsquo\;s previous position, he was the Shale Gas Team Leader for Upst ream&rsquo\;s Midcontinent business unit where he led a team on the subsur face evaluation of the successful acquisition of Atlas Energy and Chief ac reage in the Marcellus shale. \r\nMike received his B.S. degree in petrol eum engineering from Texas A&\;M University in 1985, and his M.S. degre e in petroleum engineering from Stanford University in 1987.
