Understanding the parameters that inform decisions on well spacing, wel l performance, and recovery factor are critical early on. A new approach to performance analysis was pioneered on a large sample of Woodford wells to address well spacing and the forecasting of production. Productivity i ndices were developed employing a "\;lumped parameter"\; approach as a way to address the impact of these parameters, and the associated unc ertainties, on production and recoveries. While often times these wells a re in linear flow for years, this approach can still be used to narrow unc ertainty and inform key development decisions. These physics-based predic tive forecast models were built using the lumped parameters for permeabili ty, frac spacing, and frac area sampled stochastically with input and reco nciliation from completion engineers, geologists, and reservoir engineers. This presentation will review the theory, workflow, and well examples. \ r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\ n \r\n\r\n\n\n\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n Please print and bring cre dit card receipt if you registered and paid on-line.\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n Please register before the deadline at noon on Monday, Sept ember 19th if you plan to attend.
