Completion analogies in similar reservoirs are a good place to start , but care must be taken to fine-tune design parameters which may have a s ignificant impact on production. Completion engineers need to work closel y with the geologist and reservoir engineer to understand how to use reser voir information to design effective completions. Understanding rock prop erties (YM, embedment, Brinell Hardness, etc.), mineralogy (clay content, TOC, Brittleness Index, kerogen, etc.), and type of productive hydrocarbon (oil, condensate, dry gas, etc.) are all needed to properly apply the cor rect treatment type (water frac, hybrid, or conventional fracturing fluid system). Analyzing the production and completion efficiency is extremely important so that improved design changes can be made based on quantifiabl e evaluations as opposed to qualitative comparisons.\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\ n \r\n This presentation will discuss some of the current completions s trategies and production evaluation techniques currently being used in the Eagle Ford shale, with the primary focus in the high liquid production ar eas.\r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n\r\n\n\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n \r\n Please prin t and bring credit card receipt if you registered and paid on-line.\r\n \ r\n \r\n \r\n \r\n Please register before the deadline at noon on Monday, March 21st if you plan to attend. Walk-in registrations on the day of the meeting will be accepted for a limited number of seats based on the number of registered attendees or the maximum capacity of the Carriag e Room.
