In light of this uncertainty, selecting an intrin sically safe approach of designing subsea equipment to the full wellhead s hut-in pressure appeals to the designer. However, discovery of hydrocarbon resources in deepwater and tertiary reservoirs opens up a dilemma of desi gning subsea system for shut-in pressure greater than 15,000 psi. The pres entation discusses the challenges of designing subsea HIPPS and comprehens ive implementation of new technology without compromising safety and integ rity. Design of deepest and highest pressure rating HIPPS requires clear definition of safety and reliability goals and meticulous attention to the details on qualification and lifecycle reliability assurance.\r\n\r\n\n\n \r\n \r\n \r\n--- This iCal file does *NOT* confirm registration.Event det ails subject to change. ---\r\n\r\n--- By Tendenci - The Open Source AMS f or Associations ---\r\n UID:uid1561@spegcs.org SUMMARY:PF&C: Subsea HIPPS: Still a Viable Option for GoM?
