Andres is an experienced power development professional with a strong commercial, financial, and analytical background. Over his 20+ year career, Andres has developed power projects across a wide range of generation technologies, from combined heat and power to renewables—working for both large and mid-sized independent power producers. His project development experience with ENGIE includes the $1.2 billion University of Iowa P3 project and the $80 million Panuco Combined Heat & Power Project in Altamira, Mexico. In his current role within ENGIE’s Energy Solutions Global Business Unit, Andres leads multidisciplinary teams to develop Public-Private Partnership (P3) energy projects with major universities in the United States. Andres holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a BA in Economics and International Studies from Texas A&M University.
