Description

The SPE Members in Transition Seminar Series is designed to include a selection of topics of interest to SPE members who are transitioning in between jobs during the current industry downturn or who are looking for new career opportunities.  The agenda for the sixty-eighth seminar in the series will include “4 Steps to Laser-Focus Your Oil, Gas & Energy Resume”, “Optimizing Produced Water Takeaway During Strategic Shifts” and a “Discussion of Resources for SPE Members”.

Speaker #2 Abstract: Optimizing Produced Water Takeaway During Strategic Shifts


It has become increasingly important to design SWD systems that allow for adjustment with strategic changes. SM Energy has successfully utilized existing SWD infrastructure and partnerships to pivot from maximizing operated SWD wells during peak production to minimizing disposal during seismic uncertainty while maintaining smooth production operations and low costs.
