 The SPE GCS Business Development Group is excited to announce its fifth annual A&D Symposium March 2, 2022! This year’s speaker line up is an incredible group of top decision makers in Oil and Gas and Finance today! We’ll hear from operators and finance giants including - Jefferies, Pioneer, ConocoPhillips, Earthstone Energy, and Bank of America and also from some young guns and industry movers and shakers!

Registration will begin at 7:30 AM and the event will kick off at 8:30 AM. The Symposium will feature opening and luncheon keynotes from Bill Marko, Managing Director at Jefferies and Robert Clarke, Vice President Upstream Research at Wood Mackenzie. Panels throughout the day will cover hot topics in A&D, ESG, and Capital Markets.

Previously, Mr. Argo worked for Dominion Exploration & Production and Anadarko Petroleum Corporation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering and a Master of Business Administration in energy from the University of Oklahoma.


Argo currently serves on the board for the Continental Resources PAC, the OU Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy Board of Visitors, the advisory board for the OU Mewbourne School of Petroleum & Geological Engineering, and ADAM OKC. Brandon Mikael is Director of Business Development for Encino Energy. Brandon joined Encino in 2016 and was responsible for financial and strategic analysis during the formation of Encino Acquisition Partners (EAP) in 2017, Encino's multi-billion dollar partnership with Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, as well as all of EAP's acquisitions to date, including the inaugural $2 billion acquisition of Chesapeake Energy's Ohio Utica assets in 2018. He began his career as a management consultant at Alvarez & Marsal, focused on business performance improvement and acquisition integration. Brandon holds a B.B.A. from the University of Oklahoma.
