The SPE Members in Transition Seminar Series is designed to include a selection of topics of interest to SPE members who are transitioning in between jobs during the current industry downturn or who are looking for new career opportunities.  The agenda for the sixty-fifth seminar in the series will include Empowering, Preparing and Connecting Oil and Gas Workers to the Future of Energy, Transforming your Future and a “Discussion of Resources for SPE Members”.

Alison is the Net Zero Chair of the London SPE Section and recently joined a geothermal start-up as their Chief Subsurface Engineer.

Speaker #2 Bio: Thomas’s work experience spans 30+ years of commercializing products for startup companies. After 10 years in the legal industry, Thomas transitioned to technology in 1989.  She has been involved in 13 startup companies spanning the globe, industries, and technologies. Thomas is responsible for delivery of i2k Connect’s Artificial Intelligence platform within the Energy industry. The i2k Connect AI Platform powers the Society of Petroleum Engineers Research Portal, embedded AI in Schlumberger’s DELFI and sold direct to Operators. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from University of Phoenix. She mentors Young Professionals, volunteers with Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and with SPE-GCS Sporting Clays Event raising scholarship funds.
