Dr. Oshinowo is a science specialist focused on competitive technology development in the Saudi Aramco Research & Development Center to improve the design and operation of oil and gas process facilities. He has more than 25 years’ in the application of CFD, process modeling and simulation in the oil & gas and process industries in research, development, project engineering and operations. Prior to Aramco, Dr. Oshinowo held leading technical roles at ConocoPhillips, HATCH, ANSYS and Fluent in the USA and Canada.  He has over 70 scientific publications and multiple inventions. He holds a PhD from the University of Toronto (chemical engineering & applied chemistry; 1997), is a member of SPE and AIChE, and is a licensed professional engineer (Ontario).

Tim Newton has over 15 years of experience in the study of separation systems for upstream processing modules both onshore and offshore.  Tim specializes in the application of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to simulate multiphase flows through the various parts of the production process including, separation trains, coalescer systems, gas treatment vessels, produced water treatment systems and MEG systems.  Tim also has a detailed process engineering knowledge of these systems and provides technical support to the wider produced water technology group within the NOV London Office, as well as assisting in the development of sizing tools for the company’s separation and produced water technology portfolio. Over the course of his career, Tim has also assisted in the completion of site work scopes on behalf of various clients both onshore and offshore.
