Description

Many techniques have been utilized to optimize horizontal well treatment coverage in unconventional plays; however, many of these techniques leave behind unstimulated pay. Intra-stage diversion has proven to be a viable completion strategy for horizontal and vertical targets. The technique allows an operator to extend current stage spacing as well as improve completion efficiency, saving money and potentially improving production. A new diversion technology has been applied in more than 1,200 wells and with over 150 operators. This technique can help ensure optimum zonal coverage in the initial completion while eliminating the need for additional well interventions. This presentation will describe this technology and compare it to other products and techniques currently in use.

Registration for this event closes at 6:00 PM CST on Monday, February 18, 2019.
