Aaron Davis is co-founder and CEO of Fortuna Resources and TNM Resources, private-equity backed E&P companies pursuing Permian Basin strategies. Fortuna Resources quickly built two Delaware positions in 2016 and exited both in late 2016 and 2017. Following the Transaction, Mr. Davis started TNM Resources, which currently focuses on both the Delaware Basin and Central Basin Platform in the Permian Basin. Prior to Fortuna, Mr. Davis was a Reservoir Management Team Leader at Occidental Oil & Gas. He is a graduate of both Rice University and UT Austin and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
Scott McMahon joined Pro Oil & Gas Services in October 2014 and currently serves as President & CFO. Prior to joining Pro, Scott worked for Simmons & Company International, a Houston-based energy investment banking firm where he focused on merger & acquisition and capital raising initiatives in the energy services & equipment sector. Prior to Simmons, Scott worked at Hunt Private Equity Group and Hunt Oil Company. Scott has a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the University of Texas.
Oleg Mikhailov is a Partner and Managing Director in the Energy practice at The Boston Consulting Group. Since joining BCG in October 2014, Oleg led projects for oil and gas companies, oilfield services and EPCI companies on the topics of growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, operations efficiency, mature asset management, and decommissioning. Before joining BCG, Oleg amassed 19 years of experience in the oil and gas industry working in 8 countries in 3 continents. His assignments included Vice President for Oil and Gas Production at Bashneft, Vice President for Western Siberia Division at TNK-BP, Gulf of Mexico Operations Manager for Chevron and others.
Ryan Shelton assists in investment opportunity evaluation and portfolio management. He formerly acted as an assistant vice president for the middle market commercial lending group at Amegy Bank. He earned bachelor’s degrees from Texas Tech University, in finance/general business and in agriculture and applied economics. He is currently on the board of directors of Ace Gathering and Diversified Well Logging.
Wes focuses primarily on the representation of publicly traded and privately held companies in corporate transactions, with particular emphasis on private equity and venture capital transactions and mergers and acquisitions. He has extensive experience representing venture capital firms and their portfolio companies in the software and hardware technology, energy, and life sciences industries. Wes has practiced law for two decades, including as the general counsel of both a privately held and a publicly traded software company.
Bryan is a Business Manager for Peloton. Peloton has been on the leading edge of oil and gas data management and visualization (WellView, SiteView, RigView, ProdView and LandView) for over 25 years, growing from a two person startup in 1991 to a global software company with subsidiaries in all regions of the world. Bryan serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of Petroleum Engineers Gulf Coast Section as well as founder and co-chair for the Rice Business Innovation Summit. Prior to his current role, Bryan worked in O&G operations and founded multiple eCommerce and technology companies in the USA and overseas. Bryan received a MBA from the Jones School at Rice University.
