Event #2 Description/Presentation Abstract: Data to Make Value-Driven Decisions


Drilling exploration or proved undeveloped unconventional wells is a risk-based business.  Most risk is associated with geological and engineering uncertainties, including uncertainties associated with the evaluation of data.  Cheng will demonstrate an effective visual analytical workflow utilizing pertinent geologic and engineering data to generate a Type Well Profile.  The Type Well Profile provides an improved understanding of predicted well performance, critical to estimating the economic outcome and thereby reducing risk for value-driven decisions.
