Speaker Title: Global Wells Automation Lead

Speaker Company: Shell International Exploration and Production Inc.

David received his Engineering degree in 1980 and his MBA in 2000. He has held a range of technical, operational, marketing and leadership roles globally in the service sector, including major ISCs and technology start-ups, as well as two years as CEO of a publicly-listed company in Norway. He subsequently joined Shell, where he is responsible for Wells Technology Deployment, with focus on Automation and Drilling Performance.

Speaker Title: Product Manager – Production Analytics

Speaker Company: Schlumberger

Speaker Bio: Sidd Gupta is the Product Manager for Production Analytics at Schlumberger. In the last 10 years with Schlumberger he has been involved in Reservoir and Production Engineering, Integrated Asset Modeling, Petroleum Engineering Consulting and Services, Business Development and Product Management. He also has a long affiliation with SPE, writing papers, serving on the young professional board, study groups, and technical committees. He is also a mentor to several PE students. Sidd has a BS in Petroleum Engineering from Indian School of Mines and an MS in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

Speaker Title: Senior Upstream Advisor, Chevron Upstream

Speaker Bio: Trond Unneland, Ph.D., has more than thirty years of domestic and international experience in management and business development from such diverse disciplines as Exploration, Petroleum Engineering, Offshore Oil Production Operations, Information Technology and Venture Capital. He is currently the Senior Advisor for Chevron Upstream Technology in Houston, TX. In this capacity, he is responsible for identifying promising new technologies that can deliver a clear competitive advantage and superior financial returns for Chevron.

Speaker Title: Wells Engineer

Speaker Bio: Neilkunal received his Undergraduate degree in 2003 in Astrophysics from Peterhouse College at the University of Cambridge. Neil then went on to receive his Engineering Doctorate from the Department of Aerospace Sciences from Cranfield University in the UK on the topic of Trajectory Control Systems for Autonomous Vehicles. Neilkunal then went to work as an MWD, LWD and DD for Schlumberger Drilling and Measurements in the Manifia Field in Saudi Arabia. Neilkunal currently works for Shell as a Project Lead within Wells Engineering.
