Dr. Greg Kusinski, will be presenting and discussing asset driven technology needs in the collaborative space. With DeepStar membership including over 70 organizations employing well over 1 million people and operating in all of the world’s deepwater and ultra-deepwater basins, it is well position to ensure membership are focused on the right technical challenges and leveraged to produce meaningful and value-added results. 


Greg was appointed in 2012 as the Director of DeepStar®, a global deepwater technology R&D consortium and serves as Chevron Senior Advisor to that organization. Since 1998 he has worked in various corporate capacities focusing on technology development, acceleration and commercialization. During a portion of this time he was responsible for technology development at a startup company that commercialized new technology licensed from UC Berkeley and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Dr. Kusinski received a degree in engineering from AGH University, Krakow, Poland and went on to earn B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Materials Science and Mineral Engineering from UC Berkeley where he also completed the Management of Technology program.  Dr. Kusinski currently serves on several advisory boards and is pursuing an EMBA from Rice University
