When this presentation was authored, Ms. Bonnivier was serving as senior director of health, safety, environment and regulatory affairs for the Global Products & Services segment of Baker Hughes, a fully integrated global oilfield services corporation. Bonnie started at Baker Hughes in 1977 as an analytical chemist in California, in the research and development group of Upstream Chemicals. She has held a variety of roles, including Operations, Product Management, Technology and HSE, all within the chemicals arena of Baker Hughes. Four years ago, Bonnie moved to Houston as HSE director of chemicals operations. Since then she held several HSE director roles where she played an instrumental part in the implementation of Baker Hughes process safety programs, chemical security program development, and the changes in oilfield services systems and processes following the Deepwater Horizon tragedy in 2010.


Bonnie is now with Baker Hughes recently established organizational ombuds office, an independent, neutral, informal and confidential resource to Baker Hughes employees in the resolution of workplace disputes.


Ms. Bonnivier is an active member of SOCMA, the Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates, and past chair of SOCMA’s Safety and Security Committee. She is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, American Chemical Society and the International Ombudsman Association. Bonnie graduated from Butler University with a BS in chemistry, with high honors.

Adam Worley currently serves as the HSE&S Management System and Training Manager for Baker Hughes, a fully integrated, global oilfield services corporation.  In 2006, Mr. Worley started with Baker Hughes as a compliance coordinator for the East Texas area. He was promoted to HSE&S Global Explosives Manager in 2010, where he identified and mitigated organizational risks involving explosive materials. In 2011, Mr. Worley assumed the role of HSE&S Management System Manager, where he was directly responsible for the continuous improvement and maintenance of Baker Hughes harmonized HSE&S management system. Adam’s role recently expanded with management of Baker Hughes HSE&S training and competency programs.


Before joining Baker Hughes, Mr. Worley was a noncommissioned officer in the United States Navy, responsible for maintaining strategic weapons system and ballistic missiles as a nuclear missile technician onboard the USS Nevada SSBN 733. Adam received a B.S. in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University and M.S. in Human Resources from Chapman University.
