Description

Join us at the Four Seasons Hotel as Scott Anderson will update us on EP Energy LLC’s current strategy and activities and the impact of taking the company private in 2012. The popular format of a Business & Social Networking hour, with complimentary Hors’ D’ Oeuvres and a cash bar, followed by an hour-long program, will begin at 5:00 pm in the Mezzanine.

EP Energy LLC (“EP Energy”), formerly the exploration and production business of El Paso Corporation (“El Paso”), expanded aggressively into unconventional shale plays in the late 2000s, more than doubling reserves and focusing increasingly on oil-directed activity. In 2011, El Paso planned to spin its exploration and production business off to shareholders. Kinder Morgan Inc.’s acquisition of El Paso changed that plan to an outright divesture of the exploration and production business, culminating in EP Energy’s sale to private equity company Apollo Global Management LLC and other private equity investors. How is EP Energy responding to key industry trends? What are its current plans to capitalize on its asset portfolio? How have recent changes impacted the company’s capital structure?

We welcome you to join us for this informative discussion, as well as the fellowship and networking of the popular Social Hour at 5:00 pm.
