Description

Effective management of water resources is one of the key factors for the economic success of shale gas development. In the years of the Fayetteville Shale development, Southwestern Energy has evolved the processes by which we manage our water resources. This presentation will cover five main points of prudent water management including: sourcing, transporting, reusing/ recycling, disposing and social license.
 
 
Please register prior to the event to facilitate improved planning and admission. Walk-ins will be accepted on a first come/ first serve basis as space allows.

Mr. Chip Lane has over 26 years experience in the energy industry. His past career included work with Burlington Resources, Ocean Energy and Samson in a variety of technical positions and increasing responsibilities, including: drilling, production, reservoir and planning. In Southwestern Energy, Chip was recently leading one the asset development teams in Fayetteville Shale prior to moving in to his current position as water resources manager. Chip graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering.
