Description

Decline Curve analysis is a vital part of a Petroleum Engineer's skill set.  Though it is a technique applied very often, many have little or no specific formal training in the subject.  Dr. Poston's 2-day class will serve as an excellent resource for the full spectrum of engineers using decline curve analysis - from the novice to the experienced.

The course will cover the following topics:

1.  Introduction to Decline Curve Analysis
2.  Application of Decline Curves
3.  Type Curves
4.  The Exponential Decline
5.  Hyperbolic and Harmonic Curves
6.  Interpretation of Field Curves
