Biography
Debora Martogi is a Senior Staff Professional at Geosyntec’s Consultants. She works
with the Geotechnical Engineering group, which specializes in geohazard
characterization and mitigation, geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring, and
geotechnical infrastructure and foundation engineering. The Geotechnical Engineering
group works with various clients in the upstream and midstream oil and gas and
petrochemical industry.
Debora has held several leadership and volunteer positions with SPE at the student
chapter level with the Texas A&M University student chapter (TAMU-SPE) and is now
actively involved with the SPE Gulf Coast Section professional chapter. She had served
as the Communications Chair for the D&I Committee and also as volunteer for the
Continuing Education committee. She received her B.S. in Civil/ Structural Engineering
from North Carolina State University, her M.S. in Geotechnical Engineering, and Ph.D.
in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
