The Board of Directors of SPE GCS hopes that our members and their families have come through Hurricane Ike safely and with minimal loss of property. Many of you may be in a position to help others less fortunate with donations or volunteer efforts.
This email and article is to advise you of charitable and volunteer opportunities during this time of need in the community. Individuals who are interested in volunteering can assist at various locations throughout Houston and Harris County, including the Points of Distribution Centers (P.O.D.s) and area non-profit agencies and shelters.
To volunteer or for more information, please call the City of Houston volunteer line at (713) 853-8802 between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
