EXXONMOBIL Sakhalin 1 Top Side Project. US$1.1Bill. Houston, Texas. Interface Manager: Successfully led the regulatory approval of the topsides engineering design from multiple Russian authorities. Managed a 40+ team in Russia, Europe and USA incorporating key disciplines - safety, environmental, structural, electrical & instruments, mechanical, process. Managed Russian Sub-contractors, built relationship with key authorities.


Chevron Genesis FPSO project. Houston, TX. Coordinated the commissioning of all electrical, safety and instrument system for the is$750M FPSO including DCS and power generation systems. Led the development of an Oracle database maintenance system for use by fabrication, operation and maintenance personnel.


Qatar Gas Offshore platform projects, Qatar: Provided operational management oversight to the offshore project teams.


SONATRACH. Algeria LNG project. Lead Engineer - Design.


Lusail City, Qatar: Led the design and construction of $2Bil.+, 35 Sq. km city development incorporating 5 km2 area and 500K+ m2 GFA, US$85 Mil. fee of reclaimed offshore site. Built client relationship and trust, managed multiple teams and sub-contractors, change orders, procurement, contract admin. and construction support for:

  • Roads, light rail, car parks and helipads, 1200m bridge. power duct banks, 1-132KV & and (30+) 22KV/415V substations, STP, storm water, irrigation networks, security facilities, telecom. & instrument and utility NW.
  • Marine package – basin design, 3000+ m long quay walls, boat harbor, special forces area, 4 - 150m finger piers, breakwaters, revetments, and dredging approach channels.

Doha Port, Qatar: Directed multiple int’l design & construction teams for US$3 Bil. world-class Military/Navy Base including master planning, marine, infrastructure & utilities, buildings, and security packages.


MPX: US$1.7Bill. coal mine. Bogota. Colombia. Led the delivery of the estimate and preliminary design packages for 2 global scale coal mines within budget and demanding schedule. The project incorporated port, power, roads, rails and material handling systems. Provided leadership to a diverse project team of 30+ discipline engineers in multiple countries – Colombia, USA and Canada. Delivered Project Execution Plan, preliminary deliverable lists, etc. Set up the project collaboration site


SASOL Ethylene project: US$2.7B TIC project incorporating roads, rail, jetty, canals, power, utility bank, steam, water treatment. Established execution framework for 2.6M MHRS Detail Engg. with construction team feedback - procurement, supply chain, project controls, safety. Built relationship with client, suppliers, partners.


ENRON Corporation, Houston, TX - Dabhol Power Company, India. 2600 MW, $2.2B project. Verified inclusion of all power plant electrical systems in Client's performance requirement; completeness of drawing packages by the E & C contractor (Bechtel); supply of all major equipment by vendor GE.


CHEVRON R 001 project. US $1.8Bill Program Manager. Led a 40+ team in multiple locations for transformational business process changes for 8 global refineries. Project objective included zero injuries, zero incidents, #1 competitive position.


BAYER/MILES. Baytown, TX. MR I Capacity Increase Project. As a Construction Manager, developed plan, scope, budget, schedule, quality assurance, manpower allocation, specifications, etc. Conducted site visit and developed risk management plan. Selected and recommended vendors and subcontractors. Revamped 7MW rectifier system for Chlorine production, interfaced with existing Provox DCS system, heat traced 4000' line.


AMERICAN PORTABLE TELECOM. Houston, TX. $130M cell phone infrastructure project. Construction Manager - supervised construction team comprising of four field supervisors and fifteen-member engineering team. Responsible for subcontract administration, budget and schedule.


MOBIL Refineries, Beaumont, Texas - Mobil Refinery - $500M upgrade, as a Field Engineer performed multiple engineering tasks. Coordinated client requirements with the local utility, supervised development of layout drawings for the plant medium voltage underground electrical systems, large adjustable frequency drives (AFDs), and 10,000 HP slow speed synchronous motor. Performed technical and commercial bid evaluations.


ENTERPRISE Products Company, Mont Belvieu, Texas - Belvieu Environmental Fuels, MTBE Plant Project (300,000 + Man-hours), Site Engineer - established man-hour budget and schedule dates for the packages. Supervised implementation of one line drawings and bid packages for medium and low voltage Switchgear, motor control centers, power transformers. Performed commercial and technical bid evaluations.
