PetroBowl matches SPE student chapter teams against each other in a fast-paced quiz competition.
The competing teams are challenged to answer both technical and non-technical questions associated with the oil and gas industry. Hosted annually at SPE ATCE by the Gulf Coast Section Young Professionals, the event has grown in size and popularity since its debut in 2002.”
PETROBOWL COMPETITION AT ATCE
The PetroBowl Championship takes place during the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition. The top two teams of each regional qualifier earn seeded placement in the bracket of the Championship contest and a sponsored trip to ATCE.
An additional 18 teams will receive placement, and a 50% sponsored trip to the Championship based on their Regional Qualifier performance.
Please note: Under the new format, teams can no longer enter the Championship by completing the online quiz and application process. All teams must successfully participate in their Regional Qualifier to compete in the PetroBowl Championship at ATCE.
