 Dr. Michael Pavia has been in the biotech/pharmaceutical an energy sectors for 30 years. he is the current CTO of New AERO Technology. He most recetly served as Chief Technology Officer of Glori Energy, a company focused on using microbiology to increase oil production from existing wells. he is also a member of the board of directors of Azevan Pharmaceutials, an expert witness in intellectual property litigation cases, and served seven years Biotechnology center.


He holds a B.S. in Chmsitry from Lehigh University and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania.


Previously, Dr. Pavia was Enterppreneur-in-Residence with the venture capital firm Oxford Bioscience Partners, focused on applying novel biology and chemistry to life science and energy solutions.

Please join SPE GCS Innovate! Committee (previously known as Entrepreneurship Cell) for our first event of the year. At this event, we’ll hear perspectives of successful entrepreneurs and investors about what it takes to get an idea of the ground.
