Cheryl Collarini holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from M.I.T. and an MBA from the University of New Orleans.  She worked for Mobil Oil as a civil engineer, operations engineer, development projects engineer, and reservoir engineering supervisor. She formed Collarini Engineering Inc. in 1985 to conduct independent reserve appraisals and field studies.  One of her long term clients, Mobil then ExxonMobil, engaged her to teach Petroleum Investment Decisions for over 18 years, including authoring the requisite manuals.  In 1995, she founded Collarini Energy Staffing to provide technical staff to customers on-site, placing upstream professionals, temporary and fulltime, in positions all over the world.  In 2003, she accepted a partnership in Explore Enterprises LLC and served as VP Engineering.  In 2005, she returned to Collarini Energy Staffing as Chairman after a successful sale of the Explore Enterprises assets and started Etroa Resources LLC in 2008, another exploration and production company located in Covington, Louisiana. Having recently left Etroa, her current roles are as Chairman of Collarini Energy Staffing and Manager and owner of DGC Energy, which consults in petroleum engineering and invests in oil and gas projects.
