Full Description

In 2014, Norwegian E&P executives from more than 300 companies found themselves the target of a sophisticated spear-fishing campaign designed to gain access to corporate servers. These incidents are particularly troubling as hackers researched personal details about each individual prior to their attack. With over 45 percent of energy organizations victimized by cyber-attacks in 2014 (higher than any other corporate sector), it is understandable why cyber security, both corporate and personal, has moved to the forefront of security concerns.

This presentation will provide thought provoking details on cyber threat essentials – covering recent examples of corporate attacks, how to assess your own vulnerabilities, detect security breaches, and implement measures to reduce your personal and organizational exposure to cyber-attacks.
