Jessica is the current Chair of the Petro-Tech Study Group, having been on the committee since 2011. Jessica has thirteen years of experience in the industry moving from admin to tech to technologist in quick succession. She has extensive experience in data analysis, reserves reporting, database administration, corporate compliance and reporting, and software development/troubleshooting, to name a few.


 


Jessica has been a member of SPE for seven years and has been employed at Black Stone Minerals as a Senior Engineering Technologist for the last five years. Prior to Black Stone she was part of the Engineering team at Goodrich Petroleum for eight years. She’s a single mom of two teenagers and an avid genealogist. She enjoys a wide range of activities from hunting and archery to scrapbooking, photography, and reading.

Roles and responsibilities of Petro-Techs are ever evolving. Join us for a brief overview of tech disciplines and roles, and an overview of how the Petro-Tech Study Group can help you evolve in your profession. We will present the program year calendar as well as unveil new and exciting efforts to expand and grow the group to present new and better opportunities for members.
