Description

Sponsor:  Drilling Info

Newfield has allocated 70% of its 2015 budget to the SCOOP and STACK trends of the Anadarko Basin, where it has impressive total holdings of 300k net acres. While representing 28% of its proved reserves, the Anadarko Basin provides 50% of Newfield’s 1.8bboe of future drilling resource. With challenging commodity prices, logistical efficiency and operational excellence are required to preserve margins and facilitate continued development. What are the petroleum system fundamentals of these plays? How has industry progressed each of these opportunities? How is Newfield developing its impressive asset? What operational improvements has it made both on the surface (ex: logistics) and in the pay horizons (ex: Hz and vertical spacing)? What have been the EUR and cost reduction benefits of these activities? What other advancements can we expect in the upcoming year?

Please join us at the Four Seasons for this informative discussion. The popular format of a Business & Social Networking hour, with complimentary Hors’ D’ Oeuvres and a cash bar, followed by an hour-long program including a Q&A session, will begin at 5:00 pm in the Mezzanine.
