Troy Elmore – Managing  Partner: Troy's eighteen-plus years in sales, ranging from the industrial arena to the software industry, helped to solidify his foundation and passion for assisting businesses in all areas of business development .  He partnered with Brad Freyer in 2003 to form the Houston division of Sandler Training after being exposed to the Sandler Training methodology and its life changing principles when employed at BMC software in 2000. 


He is also a well-known and popular speaker for many national associations including the Greater Houston Builders Association, National Pest Management Association, Vistage, American Institute of Architects, Greater Houston Partnership, BOMA, Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Remodelers, University of Houston Small Business Development, and many others


Troy is a graduate of the University of Houston in their Executive MBA Program in 2002.  He also received an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX in 1993.  He is a local resident in Houston and is married with four daughters. 


With this experience, including his life long lessons (and failures), Troy has been able to help companies and their people reach their goals through practical, proven, and time- tested methodologies.

Title: Mastering Internal and External Communication – You Cannot NOT Communicate

Description: In this program you will learn (as a leader) to overcome the following communication problems and become comfortable with how to better connect with others and your team.

Communication problems may exist if:

  • You have anxiety over communications with your people.
  • You find yourself avoiding conversations rather than  confronting them.
  • You are frustrated by the amount of miscommunications in your company.
  • Your messages are often lost in interpretation.
  • You have difficulty connecting with some people but not others.

 

To learn why these problems are happening and to find solutions to get around these problems, please join us for our educational session.

 You will learn: 

  • The process of communication and how to better understand it
  • Different modes and styles of communication
  • How to get a more productive reaction and result from your communication
  • Getting through employee and client filters
  • How being an active listener is half the battle
