Dr. Hatem Nasr is one of the recognized industry leading experts in Digital Oilfield. He has worked on more than 17 Digital Oilfield projects, worldwide, with many IOCs and NOCs. Dr. Nasr is a senior advisor to various International Oil Companies and Service Companies on technology and business strategy. He is a Senior Advisor to Kuwait Oil Company(KOC) on all Digital Oilfield Projects. He has been supervising the implementation of the KwIDF (Kuwait Integrated Digital Oilfield) projects. There are four KwIDF projects being implemented in KOC, led by major oil service companies: Halliburton, Schlumberger, and Weatherford. The KOC KwIDF projects are recognized in the industry as some of the most advanced projects in the industry. The Sabriyah KwIDF project was the winner of the ADIPEC 2013 Prestigious Best Technology Award. These projects led to filling several patents and more than 25 SPE papers. Previously, he was the founder of vMonitor and Director of Technology at Baker Hughes.
