 Mission: Our mission is to increase awareness of SPE-GCS programs and social contributions among its members and the community, expand overall knowledge of the organization and generate interest among potential members.

Scholarship / Internship
 Mission: The Scholarship and Internship Committees are dedicated to increasing interest in the petroleum industry among graduating high school seniors, and retaining students currently enrolled in petroleum-related academic disciplines. Through recruiting fairs, special event tours, summer employment internships, and direct contact during the students' academic careers, the committees work to insure a steady flow of focused, high quality, and talented graduates entering the petroleum industry.

Social Activities
 Mission: The primary goal of the Social Activities committee is to offer a yearly SPE-GCS event for members and their families and to steward the section's various social activities by establishing and guiding the committees that promote these events.
