Volunteers are needed for the Spring 2012 semester to teach the following courses.
JA Success Skills: JA Success Skills provides engaging, academically enriching, and experiential learning sessions for our students. It is based on Sean Covey's "7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens".
JA Business Ethics: Through hands-on classroom activities, JA Business Ethics fosters students’ ethical decision-making as they prepare to enter the workforce and take part in the global marketplace. Students will recognize and analyze theory, terminology, and concepts; apply skills; and evaluate ethical decision-making.
JA Be Entrepreneurial: By developing the essential components of a business plan, JA Be Entrepreneurial challenges students to start an entrepreneurial venture while in high school.
Share your experience in the energy industry with local high school students by teaching a Junior Achievement course. The Junior Achievement organization is dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs.
This AP math/science magnet school provides 10th-12th grade academy students with dual credit classes in engineering, geosciences, and emerging technology concepts as well as a 3 year in-depth exploration into the fundamentals of the petroleum industry.
