Biography

Riaz Israel is Schlumberger’s Drilling Engineering Center Manager for the Gulf Coast. He held previous management and engineering positions in Schlumbergersupporting GoM deepwater drilling operations. Prior moving to Houston he served as Drilling Engineer based in Trinidad, where he joined Schlumberger in 2001. Riaz is a member of the SPE & AADE and has authored drilling related papers for various conferences and workshops. He holds M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad.
