Event Description

Caofeidian (CFD) Oilfield Development Case History - Bohai Bay, China.
A brief description of the CFD development will be given followed by a discussion of sand control strategies (OHPG's in horizontal producers), ESP performance, and novel completion installations (e.g. dump flood wells and inflow control devices).

Comments

Mr. Cantu is a staff completion engineer with Anadarko Petroleum. He is currently involved with deepwater completions in the Gulf of Mexico. He spent the last four years rotating to Beijing with Kerr McGee China Petroleum Ltd (an Anadarko subsidiary) as a completion engineer on their offshore Bohai Bay project. Prior to joining Anadarko he worked as a completions & well service engineer at ExxonMobil working primarily domestic gulf coast and Mobile Bay. Mr. Cantu holds a bachelor of science degree in Engineering & Humanities from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2000).
