How does your organization communicate with other companies outside your firewall? We will be addressing the collaboration needs of large construction projects worldwide. What are other organizations doing and what are the problems they are having? And what solutions are out there? When will this drawing get approved, and who has the latest copies? (not biased, but will present Aconex business model at the end) This is open discussion that will look at various solutions, the Cost of Ownership to address the issues worldwide, and risks associated.

This is a project information management solution that is used on many construction, industrial, power, mining and oil & gas projects around the globe. The main strength of this approach is the way that a solution collaborates with project participants and streamlines cross-organizational business processes and tasks which can result in a dramatic cost savings.

Biography

Joseph Yoklavich graduated from UCLA in 1981 with a DPMA certification in System Management and Analysis. He has over 25 years of IT expertise in various industries including Energy, Oil & Gas, Utilities, and the Chemical/Refinery industry. Joseph has been an Expert Witness and advisor in several lawsuits. He has been an active member and has spoken local and national organizations such as AIIM, ARMA, Tech Execs, CIO Forum, SPE Digital Energy, and Energy Forum. In 2009, Joseph started working with Aconex, a Collaboration Solution for Larger World Wide Projects, and previously with IBM as a Enterprise Software Specialist. Joseph has an extensive knowledge with organizations finding solutions for content management, engineering, and construction solution.
