Biography

Mr. Stoneburner is currently responsible for all phases of upstream operations for the company. Prior to his current role he served as Executive Vice President-Exploration. Previous positions include Vice President—Exploration of 3TEC Energy Corporation from December 1999 until its merger with Plains Exploration & Production Company in June 2003.

Prior to joining 3TEC, Mr. Stoneburner worked as a geologist for a number of E & P companies including Hugoton Energy Corporation, Stoneburner Exploration and Texas Oil and Gas.

Mr. Stoneburner has over 30 years of experience in the energy business and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geological Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Science degree in Geology from Wichita State University.
